Ingredient Sourcing: Our fish is sustainably sourced from the Pacific Ocean. Like commercial-grade sushi, the whitefish is flash frozen at -40C to ensure parasites are eliminated. The produce is sourced from the Pacific Northwest, and our goat milk comes from a family farm in Gaston, Oregon. Feeding Guidelines
When transitioning your pet to raw food, Steve’s Real Food recommends gradually introducing the new diet over 1–2 weeks.
- Scoop: Use a measuring cup to scoop your pet’s portion into a clean food dish.
- Rehydrate: Add ¾ cup of warm water for every 1 cup of freeze-dried food. Stir to ensure even hydration and allow the food to absorb the water for 5–10 minutes.
- Serve: Once the food has rehydrated to the desired texture, usually a porridge-like consistency, serve it in a clean food dish.
Every pet has different nutritional requirements depending on age, breed, activity level and metabolism. Use the feeding calculator as a starting point and adjust portions as necessary to maintain an ideal body weight.
Food Storage Instructions: Keep the bag tightly sealed and store it away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid storing freeze-dried pet food in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations, such as garages or sheds. Store in a cool, dry environment with low humidity to prevent the food from absorbing moisture and becoming soggy or developing mould. Always refer to the best-before or use-by date printed on the packaging.
Safe Handling of Raw Pet Food: Handle raw pet food with the same care as raw meat intended for human consumption. Always wash your hands, pet bowls and any surfaces that come into contact with raw food.
